Plus 21 Autism Golf Program
Autism-Pittsburgh and PGA Professional, Ron Lucas, presents a golf program for individuals on the autism spectrum over the age of 21 designed to help fill a need for over 21 programming.
The Plus 21 Autism Golf Program is set to kick off from April 2 through May 28, taking place every other week on Tuesday evenings. The sessions, running from 5:00-6:30 PM or 4:30-6:00 PM, will be held at either the RMU Sports Dome or Woodlands Foundation, depending on weather conditions. PGA Professional Ron Lucas will be the instructor, guiding attendees through the program. This unique opportunity is specially designed for individuals with autism, offering valuable lessons at the affordable rate of $160 per person (cash or check only) for the duration of the program. Meet the Maestro: Ron Lucas
Ron Lucas is a certified PGA Class A professional with over 12 years of experience teaching golf to individuals with special needs. This program will teach the fundamentals of golf, including positioning, skills, and game etiquette, creating an educational and recreational opportunity for attendees to engage in.
